It’s the finale tonight on American Idol and both Lee and Crystal sang 3 songs…Lee sang The Boxer once more that he originally sang a few weeks ago and then took on the REM classic Everybody Hurts and finished with U2’s Beautiful Day.

Tonight the judges picked a song for each of the top 3 contestants and the top 3 each had their own personal chioce. Lee chose to sing Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the judges chioce was Hallelujah. Lee BLEW the judges out of the water with both of his songs!

Kara-”It could have been on your record!! It was amazing!!
Simon-”I’ve always believed in you– and now something’s happened and I want you to go back watch the show and understand this is the night you’re life may have changed forever!”

Lee sang “The Letter” tonight on the top 11 of American Idol. The Judges loved him! Simon did however feel it was a bit corny and not a ‘current hit’ Make sure to vote for Lee– The group that makes it through tonight will be on tour this summer!
